# Delete an inbox

Permanently retire an inbox and delete its mail. The address cannot be reused.

`DELETE /v1/inboxes/{inboxId}`

Requires scope `inboxes:write`. MCP tool `delete_inbox`. CLI `goshenemail inboxes delete`.
